When I was a kid, I remember thinking it was the coolest thing ever that my dad didn't use any lame pencil sharpener. Nope, my dad used a utility knife. That's right. MY dad sharpens pencils with a knife.

At some point I realized that all construction pencils are sharpened with utility knives. I actually don't know another way to sharpen them. But you know what? I still don't feel any less cool when I steal a utility knife out of Mike's pouch (no way I'm putting on a work belt) so I can sharpen my pencil.

Yep.
As my dad would say, "simple pleasures for simple minds..."
