After we spotted the moose (I have no idea how long he was there) Emma wanted to get a closer look. She ran toward the moose and the moose ran behind the house. The kids and I carefully went to the other front corner of the house to look around and see where our little moose had gone. He had the same idea. We all met at a distance of about 10 feet at the corner of the house. We were both pretty surprised. I really wish I had a picture of that little surprised moose face.
