A Few Random Jack-isms and a bit about Emma :D

Jack is very often a Moonyack. I have no idea what this is, but he says it's like a lizard, but with no tail, big claws, and they're poisonous. Oh, and very cuddly.

Lately he's been a Zook or a Zoop (I think this changes) This creature also has large claws. No whiskers. No tail. Fur. And is also very cuddly.

Emma saw her first Harry Potter movie in the theater with The Deathly Hallows Part two. She's halfway through the last book right now.

I sat in the theater and almost cried BEFORE the movie started, realizing that it was the last time I'd get to experience any part of the Harry Potter stories for the first time. So sad it's all over.

BUT I still love the books and will probably read them many more times.

Emma's about to start 3rd grade this year.

The stuffed snake was miraculously in the tent from sometime over the winter when the kids and I set up the tent in the playroom. He was a FABULOUS playmate for Emma and Jack.

field trip to Heaven's Hayfield

I get to go to Heaven's Hayfield almost every year.  I played with two of my friends.  Their names are Maddie and Toni.   We always get to have a barbecue.   I love Heaven's Hayfield.

I took some pictures of the cabins.  We were allowed in some,but we weren't allowed in others.   We weren't allowed in this one.

This cabin was built in 1915!   We were allowed to go inside.  Me and Maddie got to go up to the sleeping area in the cabin.   We had to climb a ladder in the cabin to get to the sleeping area.  There is a window where the sleeping area is.   Outside the window is a ladder.   I looked out the window and Erik (one of my classmates) was standing right on the ladder even though he wasn't allowed to!

We tore Emma's room apart before beginning to put it back together. She and Jack found a book worth reading and read together for about 20 minutes. SO AWESOME.
